It was boring from the first ten minutes of the film and had to sit through the next two and a half hours of this junk. The story is very flat. Our hero is not someone to root for, I very much could careless about anything that happened to her. This was one of the worst things that I have seen in a while. SO much so that I think that I am adding it to my all-time worst movie list. Mr. Marshall go back to the theater, please!!I stand: STILL HAVING MARION APOLOGIZING FOR MAKING ME SEE THIS FILM.

What a bummer because I read the book and I really liked it :(
READ the book people! Seriously, books are always better. well 9 of 10 times they are. When a beatifully written story tries to become a flat screen of moving pictures when that was never the original intent...it always falls short of what our imaginations have produced.
