metric-live it out (2005)

Toronto has been me thanking them for the the band Metric. A little new-wave, a little punk, got some rock to it.

You may have to listen to the album a few times to really hear the beauty in the rhythm, lyrics as well as tone. Frontwoman Emily Haines' delivery keeps me just driving on. All the songs have there own take, there are no repeats of the same song like many other bands where their music all sounds the same. But with saying this, Live It Out is a complete album.

Standout tracks: 1.Empty (ok start there and let the ride begin)

i stand: DRIVE FAST WITH THE VOLUME UP
